| Self introduction |
I conduct research on human activities using analytical chemistry and statistical analysis. My main focus is on lithic materials such as quartz and obsidian, aiming to understand how these materials were procured, processed, and used at archaeological sites. In Yamanashi Prefecture, where our research institute is located, there is a traditional craft known as Koshu Crystal Carving. The findings from my research on stone culture are being applied to traditional industries and education in this region. At the same time, since analytical chemistry and statistical analysis can be applied to various fields, I adopt a "let's give it a try" mindset and participate in research on a wide range of subjects, including metals, animal bones, plants, topography, and survey data. |
