Overview Commissioned by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, the project for human resource development in the field of cultural heritage protection has been conducted for three years in cooperation with experts from the Georgian Agency for Cultural Heritage Protection, the National Museum of Georgia, and Tbilisi State University. Specifically, the project focuses on the conservation and restoration of archaeological artifacts, conservation management and utilization of cultural heritage, and archaeological research (documentation of features and artifacts, zooarchaeology and archaeobotany), through practical training in the field in Georgia (Nokalakevi ste and Grakliani site) and Kyrgyzstan (Ak-Beshim site). The project provided learning opportunities for many young researchers and students.
